Underground Training was founded on the belief that no matter where you train or who you train with, if you are doing what is right for you then keep going. The focus is not on the location, how many classes you take a week, or how many pounds you can lose in a month. Try new things, push your limits, and get excited about being strong and staying healthy. As a trainer and someone who values an awesome workout I will push you, support you, and encourage you whether it is with me or not.
Motivation & Accountability
Group training is not only motivational but challenging and raises the bar for accountability. These workouts are not focused on competition, instead they are designed to push your boundaries while developing a bond with those around you. Don't be surprised if you find yourself hanging out with the group outside of the workouts!

Try something new.
I developed a love for fitness in college and thought of personal training as a supplement to a planned teaching career. Life happened and the teaching career didn't. For years, I taught group fitness classes on weekends and after my 9 to 5 office job. With a packed schedule I found myself waking up extra early to fit in my own workout in my basement.
The early mornings and solo workouts were well worth it. Countless mornings were spent developing dynamic workouts combining resistance training and high intensity intervals. These workouts challenge me and get me pumped to share them with my clients.
Underground Training started in the basement with a lot of sweat, passion, and a vision. I have brought the workouts and training techniques out of the basement and can't wait to share outdoor workouts with the North Fork.
